I will use absolutely any excuse to go to the desert. Any. Excuse. When I knew I was making the drive out to Palm Springs for an engagement session it just made sense to rent an apartment on Airbnb and make a weekend of it. Literally any excuse to stay in the desert. hahaha. Since I had some extra time I decided to put together a simple Palm Springs wedding inspiration shoot just for fun. Enter Brandy and Kevin.

Until the day of this shoot I’d actually never met Brandy or Kevin.

But a few weeks prior while I was shooting a Sunday wedding when I got a text from Alexis telling me she’d just met someone at church who had the most incredible curly hair and I needed her in front of my camera. There may or may not have been some Instagram stalking. There was definitely Instagram stalking.

Stalking lead to messaging and messaging led to planning this little Palm Springs wedding styled shoot and before I knew it Brandy was putting her wedding dress back on and we were all laughing together. Let me tell you, these two are some of the most genuine and kind hearted people you will ever meet. Brandy is a blogger over at Almond Milk and Honey and Kevin is a personal trainer and owner of The Back Yard in Old Torrance. I am so thankful for their friendship. Funny story, 6 months later I moved in next door to these two. Moral of the story you get in front of my camera you’re stuck with me. 😉
