Fairmount Park Horticulture Center Wedding // 3 years ago I went on a trip to New Zealand. That trip was the gift that keeps giving. Specifically because it gave me my dear friend Bri. The summer after we met in New Zealand I flew to Vermont to second shoot a wedding with [a very pregnant] Bri. And last spring I had the opportunity to second shoot with [a very pregnant for the second time!] Bri. This time in her home state of Pennsylvania.

Jill & Zach got ready in the middle of Downtown Philadelphia. You all know how I feel about city views. And if you don’t: it’s very positive. I feel very positively about city views. Once everyone was ready, and Jill had the most beautiful first look with her dad, we made our way from downtown to Fairmount Park Horticulture Center.

If I were picking my top 3 favorite parts of the day they would be as follows:

1. Jill & Zach’s first look. Zach’s reaction was priceless. Maybe the most beautiful first look I’ve ever seen.

2. The flowering trees. In LA we have jacaranda trees which are pretty awesome. But these trees were magic to photograph. Magic trees and a bride as stunning as as Jill. I basically died. So much so I’m very seriously considering heading to central California for the almond blossoms at the end of the month. Who wants flowery tree photos?

3. The dance floor. These families never. stopped. It was FANTASTIC!
