Da Vinci Schools: Hawthorne Lifestyle Photography

Da Vinci Schools

If you’ve been following my blog for any amount of time I’m sure you’ve read and seen pictures from my adventures in the magical classroom of 9-3. If you haven’t, click that link, you’ll find good times, amazing students, and even some tears. Over the summer 9-3 has reinvented itself on another high school campus and, while I’ll still be visiting the amazing students and friends I have on the other campus often, I’m so excited to say I’ll be working at Da Vinci Schools for the upcoming school year 😀 Basically, all the photos I took in the old 9-3 I’ll be taking in the new 9-3 AND the entire high school campus. I get to sit in on classes and be an over all observer of a whole bunch of teachers and students. I really couldn’t be more excited. 😀

Yesterday I started my first day at Da Vinci, Professional Development started for new teachers and I had the chance be there for the fun. I’m sure you’ll be seeing these people around on the blog often as the year progresses.

The teachers broke off into groups and came up with some hilarious skits to demonstrate the school norms.

Then, after a photo scavenger hunt in the surrounding cities [to familiarize those new to the area where important things are, like Yogurtland] they stopped for lunch under the Manhattan Beach Pier.

I’m convinced that everything about this school is magic, so to play even a small part in what happens there is such an honor!
