When I met Jen last year I instantly loved her. Instantly. She’s just one of those people who is so full of life you always walk away smiling. Not long after we met she told me I needed to stop posting pictures of babies on my blog because they were making her ovaries hurt. hahaha! Then, earlier this year, over YogurtLand, she told me a new baby Harris was coming soon. I was soooooo excited! And if I’m being honest it was mostly selfish excitement for 2 reasons, 1. I would get to photograph her maternity pictures and 2. I would have a new baby to snuggle!

Apparently the weather doesn’t care if you schedule a session 7 months in advance, because the weekend we’d planned to do Jen’s maternity portraits it rained. So we decided to reschedule during the week, after Jen dropped the kids off at school we’d shoot to our hearts content. Let me tell you, it was a GOOD idea we didn’t wait for the next weekend… because a little more than 24 hours after these photos were taken Baby Girl Harris made her debut.

Baby Girl Harris, is named Paisley so Alexis made these cute little pennants for the shoot.
