Almost exactly a year ago I was on an epic adventure, traveling in another country alongside 14 other creatives. Meeting new people, experiencing new things, pretty much having the time of my life. I remember walking down the trail towards Cathedral Cove talking with my new friends about business, couples, printing pictures, dream places to shoot and then we started talking about the one thing I dreaded. Blogging. At the beginning of last year I couldn’t even wrap my head around starting to blog again. It was too overwhelming, too vulnerable, too much. And in January 2016 I’d already been avoiding it for almost a full year… why try to rebuild a bridge I’d already burned?

Then I came home from New Zealand, creatively refreshed in a way I hadn’t been in years of running this little photography business and my mind kept going back to that walk.

So, in true Stacee fashion, instead of just starting to blog again. I had to completely redesign my website and blog and clearly I took my time doing it. 😉

Now, in January 2017, a couple months shy of a 2 year blogging break I think I’m ready to start again. I have weddings galore to share, a trip to New Zealand, a layover in Fiji, multiple Canadian adventures, and hopefully over the next several weeks and months you’ll be able to see in to my little corner of the world.
