Snowy Tibble Fork Engagement Photography // A few weeks ago I was in Utah. Mostly to visit my friend Meghan but also sort of to go to the Photo Native conference. But mostly to visit Meghan. 😉 Saturday morning we were leaving Meghan’s house to head towards Provo and the world was blanketed in the most amazing layer of snow. Like a good Millennial I took a video before getting in the car and sent it to my sisters.

I said something like “OMG SNOW!!!” I have no excuse… I’m a California girl I can’t help it. Snow is exciting. After they replied I gushed about getting to shoot a “snowy forest engagement session” before heading home to California the following Monday. My sister responded “This is very much the opposite of the desert.” She is not wrong.

Even though this engagement session is the opposite of my beloved desert I’m still completely in love with it!

When Meghan and I got to Tibble Fork we were sitting in the car talking, with the heater blasting, and just by looking outside we decided we were only going to shoot for about 20 minutes because no one was going to want to be cold for long. Yeah, we shot for a full hour. Katelyn & Eric were total troopers during their Tibble Fork engagement session. It was 26º. I was wearing double pants, double socks, double cardigans plus a jacket and they traipsed about in the snow like it was no big deal. It was actively snowing the entire time we were shooting! Total troopers.
