Carolina and I had been talking about her and Rito’s engagement session for weeks, we’d picked the perfect locations and times, we had the best ideas and we were all SO excited for their session… or I was excited, they were nervous, but that’s the same right? ;] And then it rained. It rained in Southern California… during the SUMMER. Of course I would have the perfect shoot scheduled on a day it would rain.

Carolina and Rito wanted part of their engagement session to be at the Farmers Market, they like to wander the rows of the local markets together and it seemed like the perfect place to start. We met up a few weekends ago at the Palos Verdes Farmers Market, and then continued their shoot later in afternoon at Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. I am in love with this shoot! So much so that I couldn’t narrow down the images I wanted to blog to less than 50! That means you’re going to have to check back tomorrow to see part 2 of their session. ;]

Nail polish is such a small detail, but I LOVE it!!! Taking the time to paint your nails a fun color seriously adds so much to your photos.

I was so SO excited that the sun decided to hang around.
