It is officially engagement season! 😀 Someone asked me recently if I ever got tired of photographing certain types of sessions, I thought about it and realized how season-driven I shoot. Early in the year is engagements, summer is weddings, fall is families and the rotation makes it easy for me to honestly answer no I never get tired of shooting any type of session. But, I will admit, often times engagement sessions are the most fun for me. ;]

Of course this session was no exception! From the second I met Shannon and John I instantly loved them, we wandered around the cliffs in Palos Verdes talking about how they both grew up far from California, Shannon in New Jersey and John in Chicago, but they both eventually made their way to sunny Southern California– where their paths crossed. They co-told me all about how John proposed while they were on a trip to Ireland and how when it happened Shannon burst into tears. Adorable. 😀 We basically spent the afternoon doing my favorite thing, walking talking and laughing.

John went to Notre Dame and football is very important, so of course we broke out jerseys for the last couple fun shots. ;]
