This morning I woke up before any lights had been turned on in our house, before pudding was served for breakfast and before the sun started streaming through the windows. I wanted to go for a quick walk to see the sun rise and meet the waves at Sunset Beach, and I wanted to put the Contax 645 I rented to use… of course. ;] Being in Hawaii the last 5 days has been absolutely incredible, it’s hard to believe we still have a week to go!
I don’t have any Hawaii pictures downloaded yet, because the majority of them have been taken on film, but you can see a few of them over on instagram if you’re looking for some islandy goodness. ;] Instead today I’m going to share a few images from a different trip I took. Earlier this year I drove up to Sacramento for Joy & Thomas’s wedding and I shot some film along the way.
About 4 hours in to our drive through the middle of California we came across this magical land called Bravo Farms.
These last few were taken on our drive home, a little pulling to the side of the highway and possibly trespassing to see some almond trees and walking 2 miles to find sand dunes that we couldn’t actually get to. I love adventuring.
