You know what’s handy? When you get home from work and your brand new 50mm 1.2 L series lens is sitting in a package on your bed and you think OMG! OMG! OMG! I want to plaaaaay with it! And then you realize the cutest baby in the world is just a driveway away. ♥

This past week has been kind of crazy. I keep saying that. But really, it has been. Between work, and going to 9-3, and being a photographer, just now as I’m sitting here blogging it’s actually sinking in that I’m now the owner of a 50mm L series lens AND a second Canon 5D body. They’re just mine. No more rentals, no more sitting in traffic the day before a big shoot or a wedding, no more waking up extra early on Monday morning to sit in traffic again to return things. It’s REALLY exciting!

It’s quite possible that I’m just over emotional lately, but when Zoe starts posing for the camera or gets excited when I walk in the house it makes me want to cry like I cried the day she was born. ♥
