Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: personal

You can totally judge me for this post, I don’t care ;]

On July 20th 2007 I was at Borders bookstore. Why do I know this? Because I was at the midnight release party for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The last Harry Potter book in the series. Before heading to the book store, my fellow Harry Potter loving friends had a party, where yes, we did take pictures while we were all dressed up.

Tonight at 12:01am I will be sitting in the movie theater watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I can’t believe it has all come to an end. I remember the summer of 2003 when I read all of the books before Order of the Phoenix was released. It was impossible for me to put these books down.

To those of you who have followed these books since you were children or teenagers, those who cry when they see previews for Deathly Hallows Part 2, to those who’ve watched the live streams from the premieres around the world, those who aren’t sure to be extremely excited or extremely sad, this post is for you. For so long it seemed like it would never come, but the end is here. Enjoy the movie tonight or this weekend, or whenever you see it. I know I’ll be crying as soon as the intro music starts. :[

These photos are from the release party of the 7th book.

I can’t for the life of me remember what she’s doing, but this picture makes me laugh!
