She spent her first year at University studying Pharmaceutical Sciences, a pretty challenging major, so challenging in fact that by the close of that year she considered changing majors. After spending a considerable amount of time contemplating a switch, she finally caved and admitted she knew God wanted her in that major. Her second year started and classes were even more challenging, if that’s even possible, but this year she met him. He helped her through excruciating classes and through the year their friendship turned to something more. At the close of her second year she felt a huge peace about changing her major to Psychology, God had her stay where she was, even if it wasn’t fun, so she could meet the love of her life.

Now, Ashley and Stephen are engaged and getting ready for their wedding next year. They’ve spent the whole summer apart because of school, but after months of separation Stephen flew to California to visit Ashley and her family. During that visit I was so excited to schedule an engagement session for them in Malibu!

I’m absolutely in love with this session, I love the location, the light, AND the couple! They were so fun and I’m so happy for their future together!
