Annie & Zoran: Santa Monica Proposal Photography

engagement, lifestyle, weddings

The past week has been absolutely insane. It’s never until I’ve made it through the other side of a crazy week that I think about what I’ve powered through. But this morning, when I tallied up the 40 hours I spent driving over the last week… and realized that in that amount of time I could have almost made it to New York I don’t think it’s fair to call my weeks crazy anymore, I think I have to own up and realize I’m actually the crazy one.

In the case of this event, all of the crazy was totally worth it. It’s not often anymore that my close friends have a chance to be in front of my camera, so this post is very near to my heart. Zoran & Annie have been together pretty much the entire time I’ve been struggling my way into the photography world. They modeled for me at the very beginning and they’ve supported me every step of the way. This past Saturday Zoran got down on one knee and asked Annie to marry him and I am so glad that I was able to use my camera and capture something so incredibly special for them after they have supported me for so many years. :’] I love these two so very much and many times while planning this surprise proposal I was brought to tears by how very excited I am for them to start their lives together. If I type anymore I’m going to be a crying mess, so please enjoy these images of my friends.

Congratulations, Zoran & Annie. ♥

Annie didn’t start crying until she called to tell her dad she was engaged. That’s when I started crying too. Daddy daughter relationships are special. ♥

I was laughing at the first few photos when he got down on his knee! She’s probably like “what are you doing? what? what is this? Is that a ring?”..ahh those moments are priceless. And this was gorgeous btw.. 🙂
