Neither of them are really into the party scene, but by chance they both happened to be at the same party ringing in the new year. They met and talked, but the timing was bad for both of them so they let it go, but Mayra never really forgot about him. Two years later their paths crossed again and this time the timing was perfect. They quickly became inseparable and earlier this year Juan Carlos asked Mayra to marry him.

We met last weekend for their engagement session in Malibu and I love these two! The way they make each other smile and laugh is SO sweet! And, these two are EXTRA amazing because Mayra has been following my blog for a few years and almost right after they got engaged she messaged me about booking a session, and they decided to do a quick turn around trip from northern California just to do a session with me. I am seriously so blessed by my clients. ♥
