Last year I went to see fall on the east coast for the first time. I stayed in Boston but drove all through New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island. While I was in Connecticut my friends and I pulled off at a farm and went apple picking for the very first time. It was one of those magical life moments, it had been pouring rain all day and the clouds parted as soon as we got out of the car and we picked apples in the sunshine. 15 minutes down the road it was raining again.
When I got home to California I wanted to recreate that moment with my sister, so we drove to Oak Glen to go apple picking. It wasn’t quite as magical, but it was still so much fun. When I was asked to photograph Caroline & Jason’s wedding in Oak Glen I was sooooo excited to have an excuse to go back! It is such a beautiful area.
Caroline & Jason got ready at Serendipity Ranch, Caroline claimed the living room and Jason used the bedroom. ;] And their wedding took place a few miles down the road at the beautiful Serendipity Garden.
Caroline, you are SO stunning! They decided to see each other before the ceremony and they met under the willow tree in front of Serendipity Ranch. So beautiful! It was 115° on their wedding day, not even kidding. So we snuck away for their portraits just as the sun was setting and it was starting to cool off. These two are just too gorgeous!
Huge thank you to Marissa for having me along to 2nd shoot with her! ♥
