Emily & Dillon: Randall Museum Wedding Photographer

weddings

I love to travel. Love love love. A few months ago my friend and fellow photographer Diana asked if I would 2nd shoot Emily & Dillon’s wedding with her at the Randall Museum in San Francisco. Of course I said yes! I had a wedding in LA the day before so I felt like the ultimate jet-setter strolling into the airport Sunday morning in my wedding clothes with a rolling bag of camera equipment and flying up the coast for the wedding that evening. [It really doesn’t take much to make me giddy.]

An hour later [which is less time than it usually takes me to drive to a wedding thanks to LA traffic…] I was landing at SFO, hopping on the BART and making my way towards a whirlwind of wedding fun in the city. I love adventures!!

The afternoon started hanging out at Emily’s apartment where she was getting her makeup done surrounded by her best friends.
Oh my GORGEOUS! I LOVE their rings! Then I made my way across town to hang out with the guys while they got ready.Guys getting ready is always a little comical… like when they have to borrow an iron from a neighboring apartment from people they’ve never met. I laughed, a lot. When Dillon was all ready to head to Corona Heights Park to meet his bride all of the guys gathered around him to pray. Over him, over Emily, over their marriage and their day.Hands down this was my favorite part of the whole day.Emily & Dillon decided to see each other before their ceremony, I just love her face! ♥Emily wore her great grandmother’s wedding dress from 1932. Clearly they were made for each other. ;]Only the coolest couples have their bridal party shuttled through San Francisco in a motorhome. After lots of laughing at Corona Heights Park we made our way up the hill to the Randall Museum for the ceremony. It was crazy windy at the top of the hill for the ceremony I love the wind picking up Emily’s dress!Talk about a GORGEOUS view!Dinner and desert were provided by food trucks, SO COOL! Pizza from Fist of Flour PizzaAnd all kinds of yummy frozen treats from Lexie’s Frozen Custard.I just love seeing sunsets in cities that aren’t mine. ♥Everything about their day was perfect. Congratulations, Emily & Dillon!
