I’m currently sitting in the Seattle-Tacoma airport waiting on a delayed flight home and I’m not going to lie I feel preeeeeetty proud of myself for actually getting work done and sharing this Madera Kitchen Wedding when I could be wasting time scrolling through Instagram instead. ;]
There is so much I love about this wedding. The day started at Mama Shelter which was so perfect because it’s 3 minutes away from Madera Kitchen and because they have an awesome rooftop restaurant we were able to use for the first look!  If you’re new here, rooftops are my JAM, I’m obsessed with them, so obviously I was excited. It did not disappoint!
After the first look at Mama Shelter we wandered the streets of LA for portraits. One of my favorite things about shooting in Los Angeles is no two weddings will look the same. You just have to turn a different corner and you’ll discover a new building or alley way or street and everything is completely brand new. Cities are awesome like that.
Madera Kitchen is such a fun wedding space. It’s the perfect indoor outdoor blend and it’s small enough to create an intimate space for couples and their guests. Much like rooftops are my jam small weddings steal my heart. I love when couples imagine wedding days where they are truly able to spend time with their guests. Because Katie and Ben are LA transplants most of their family came from out of town and Madera Kitchen created the perfect space to celebrate. I hope you enjoy this Madera Kitchen wedding as much as I did!
