Anniversary Photography in Joshua Tree // Alison & Ken

engagement

Anniversary Photography in Joshua Tree // I’m living a fortunate 2019. There’s no other way to say it. Because the first 5 months of the year I have been or will be desert bound. It’s all of my life dreams come true. Now I just need to find 7 more excuses to be desert bound and I will have a perfect year. 😉

To celebrate their 2nd wedding anniversary Alison and Ken traveled to Palm Springs. A perk of Palm Springs is Joshua Tree National Park is pretty close by. Most importantly, it’s always ready for photoshooting goodness! Probably one of the most fun things about photographing couples in Joshua Tree is the part where they’re generally all from out of town. Even though I’m not a Palm Springs, Yucca Valley or Joshua Tree local I love being able to share this place with people for the first time.

Sharing Joshua Tree with these two was just as magical as usual, maybe even more so because Alison & Ken decided to come back for sunrise the morning after our shoot. Humans after my own heart for sure. The number of times I’ve wanted to wake up at sunrise to see the light in a new place while traveling is ridiculous. My ability to relax on vacation is practically non existent. No chill. That is me. hahaha. But I’m glad to be in good company with Alison & Ken!

Happy new week my friends, thank you for stopping by! ♥
