Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Wedding // I fell in love with Canada in 2009. I was using a Canon Rebel Xti. I’d just gotten my passport. I’d never left the country and I was traveling to Vancouver to intern with Jamie Delaine. I was a little baby. That week and a half was a game changer and it sealed my fate for loving Canada for life.

Since 2009 I’ve been to British Columbia three times, Alberta twice and Ontario twice. I would tell you how high Prince Edward Island is on my dream travel list but we have other things to talk about. Let’s just say my inner Anne of Green Gables fangirl would lose her mind in PEI.

But today we’re going to talk about this AMAZING wedding instead. My ridiculously talented friend Natalie at Natalie Andrusiak Photography invited me to Alberta to photograph Katelynn & Mike’s wedding with her. I fell in love with Canada in 2009 but Banff specifically stole my heart on this trip to Alberta. Aside from being the most beautiful mountain wedding I wish I could photograph over and over again, Lake Louise was breathtaking. Breathtaking.

There were several times throughout the day where I would just stop and stare. Banff is probably the most beautiful wedding location I have ever seen. Whether we were up in the trees or standing on the edge of Lake Louise you cannot go wrong with this location.

Every single thing about Katelynn & Mike’s day was perfect. I’m so excited to share it with you!
