New York City: personal

personal

A moment I will never forget is getting off the PATH on 33rd Street on Friday morning of our trip. It was a little later than we’d anticipated… getting up and out of our apartment was harder than it was supposed to be, but walking up the steps and out the door into Manhattan with Alexis and Jennie is one of those moments that will forever be engraved in my memories. The tall buildings, the people, the traffic, the taxis. I’m pretty sure years ago when this friendship started none of us EVER imagined we would make it to New York City together. EV-ER.

But we did.

Our trip was 5 days long and we spent a day and a half in the city. [Half of Friday and all of Sunday.] This was our view as soon as we stepped out on to the the streets of Manhattan.

Courtney!! Expect an email from me in your inbox in a few minutes!!

When I starting making a list of my favorite things to give away on the blog I knew I wanted to do something epic on Friday, so I started thinking about my favorite places to shop and what kind of gift cards I would want to win. Anthropologie seemed like a given. Who doesn’t love Anthropologie!? But then I thought a little harder and realized when I’m dreaming about things I want, it’s rarely tangible things. I would SO much rather have an adventure or make a memory than buy a $200 sweater. So todays giveaway is an adorable print from Hey There Design and a $50 Southwest gift card. So you can kickstart an adventure of your own! ♥
