Is it weird that I want to cry because I’m posting a real blog? That’s how I feel right now. Ready to cry into my second cup of coffee because it’s been a long time since I’ve been here, sharing something I love. And let me tell you how very much I love these Joshua Tree engagement photos. Joshua Tree has my heart. Really all of the desert has my heart. There’s just something magical about the emptiness of the desert. Throw in some desert wind and a desert sunset and it’s like my absolute perfect day. I’m not kidding, I would make the LA to Palm Springs drive a million times to photograph people in love in these wide open spaces. I’d should probably invest in FasTrak. 😉

Let me tell you about two of my favorite people: Paige & Chad. When we met for coffee to chat about their wedding I basically said “You have to pick me to be your wedding photography, I think we’re already best friends.” And that is 100% how I still feel. I adore these two. Their love for each other is so beautiful and their love for people is so authentic. I was ridiculously excited when Paige & Chad decided to make the trek out to the desert for their Joshua Tree engagement photos. Originally they were planning to get married in the desert but decided to keep their celebration a little closer to home. [You’ll get to see a little bit into their wedding day soon!] Obviously the next best thing is a desert engagement session! So we made it happen.

I hope as you scroll through these images the love Paige and Chad have for each other shines through in the way they laugh and snuggle.
