He was a year ahead of her in high school, but they were both on the cross country team and during one of their team practices she noticed him. At first she was too shy to say “hi” but after becoming friends on Myspace [Remember the good old days??] they became friends in real life, and almost a year after she first saw him they started dating. Because of college Jacy and Brett have been dating long distance but as 2012 came to a close Brett proposed to Jacy and they are now getting ready to start their lives together. ♥ I am SO excited for their wedding this summer!

Jacy’s grandparents have always been very important to her, so we decided that was the perfect place to start their engagement session.

After leaving her grandparents house, we headed up to Palos Verdes to finish up the session. I LOVE this spot!

Everyone knows how much I love the sun, well we’ve been fighting over the last few weeks. He just keeps refusing to show up days that I have shoots and it’s really annoying. But, if it had been all warm and sunny we may have missed these cute snuggly moments that I love soooo much! Take that, sun.
