I will say it again and again and again and agaaaaaaain, until everyone hears me. Maternity sessions are my favorite!! Favorite ever. I just love capturing the glow of mommies-to-be! So when I was watching a pretty sunset and dreaming about taking pretty pictures and Belinda, a fellow photographer, sent me a message asking if I would photograph her family and her maternity portraits I was ecstatic! We ended up making it happen the day after she sent me the message because I was afraid the marine layer would come in and ruin all my sunset fun if we waited too long and I am SO glad we did. The light in these images is absolutely dreamy.

Being a photographer and having a family kind of has it’s drawbacks, because as the photographer you’re rarely *in* the pictures. When we met up for this session Belinda asked if I would get a few photos of her and her first baby, Emma. Um, of course! ♥
