This Leo Carrillo Ranch wedding makes my heart flutter in all the desert loving ways. Cactus? Bougainvillea? A white hacienda? Desert perfection. My absolute favorite. I know I go on and on about the desert all the time, but seriously. For their ceremony Jenna and Chris opted not to use the typical space where most weddings are held at Leo Carrillo Ranch and instead moved it to the wide open space outside of the main hacienda. It was this photographers dream. Wide open spaces and a darling building with a giant cactus as a backdrop!? So much love. I would go anywhere to shoot desert goodness!
From the start of my business one of my favorite things about this adventure has been getting to know people in the photography community. Meet-ups used to [and still do!] stress me right out, what can I say I’m an introvert. 😉 But through the years I’ve been able to to meet some really incredible humans who also happen to be tremendously talented photographers and sometimes I’m fortunate enough to be able to work alongside them.
A few years ago I connected with the wonderful Jenna of Jenna Bechtholt Photography and I’ve been able to 2nd shoot with her often since we met. We’re kindred spirits with our loves of the desert and DTLA and I’m continually blown away by her talent. Seriously, every time she posts on Instagram I’m completely floored. There aren’t enough words to express how thankful I am to have the opportunity to work with her! Now that I’m finally getting back in to the habit of blogging I’m excited to share some of the incredible weddings I’ve been able to shoot with Jenna, including this Leo Carrillo Ranch wedding. I hope you love it as much as I do!
As always, thanks for stopping by! Happy Thursday. ♥
