Islamorada Wedding at the Caribbean Resort // Chelsea & James

Islamorada Wedding at the Caribbean Resort // I love everything about Chelsea and James’s Florida Keys wedding. I was fortunate enough to be a part of their day by second shooting with my talented friend Jenna at Jenna Bechtholt Photography. The whole day was such a dream.

Chelsea’s epic-ly braided hair. Her beautiful fall bouquet. Not to mention her AMAZING wedding dress plus tie dyed and mismatched bridesmaids dresses. Palm trees. White sand. Blue water. Huge smiles and big laughs. So many happy tears. A completely empty beach for sunset portraits. I could not ask for more! The whole day was such a dream from start to finish.

This wedding was particularly incredible because it took place 6 weeks after Hurricane Irma came through the Florida Keys. Jenna and I drove down to Islamorada from Ft. Lauderdale and driving the Overseas Highway we got to see some of the destruction first hand.  It was really incredible to see how the Caribbean Resort picked themselves up after the hurricane to be ready for the wedding.

This is definitely one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy looking through these images as much as I enjoyed taking them. So many heart eyes for this day.
