Badlands National Park Photography // Tessa & Jake

engagement

Badlands National Park Engagement Photography // A few weeks ago I said I didn’t want to set blogging goals in a blog post because it was setting myself up for failure. So dramatic. But even if I didn’t make public blogging goals I’ve been trying to dig up some favorites from the hard drive archives to share with you. The funny thing is, in choosing and prepping my favorite shoots I’m realizing none of them are local. I do love traveling, but trust me, my life isn’t as glamorous as it seems on this blog. 😉 March goal: blog shoots that have taken place in Southern California. There I said it.

Growing up I spent a few weeks of summer and Christmas breaks going to South Dakota to visit family. Now we’re all grown up and cousins are spread through the country but this past July we made a point to get together again. In typical Stacee fashion I made a point to schedule a shoot. After falling in love with Badlands National Park a few years ago I was so excited to go back with Tessa & Jake.

We adventured through the Badlands at sunset and it was just as lovely as I remembered. Shandra at Victoria’s Garden in Rapid City made a bouquet for our shoot and I just adore it. In the hierarchy of things I love to photograph flowers are just under big laughs. This shoot gave me both. Best ever.

Have a happy week, friends! ♄
