When I started this blog I sat for over an hour with an empty screen open not knowing exactly where I wanted to go with this post. Then the doorbell rang, and there on the porch sat an unexpected package from San Francisco. Coffee, chocolates and a card that brought tears to my eyes from one of my 2012 couples.

That moment pretty much sums up my year, it has been such an adventure. I walked in with such high expectations and big dreams and God completely blew my dreams out of the water and exceeded them over and over and over again. To name a few of the incredible things that happened this year: I photographed a total of 20 weddings [most of which have yet to be blogged… they’re coming!], I ran my first 5k, flew to and from Phoenix in 1 day… and got cactus stuck in my foot, visited some of my dearest friends in another country, quit my day job and became a full time photographer, spent one of my favorite weekends in San Francisco, and went on a week long dream trip to New England.

After all of that I can’t even fathom what 2013 will bring, but I’m excited. With a new year comes new goals and later this week I’m going to share some of my goals with you. 😀 But, until then here’s a little look at the last year and the people who made it so incredible. ♥
